In the spotlight
I recently attended Australia’s first Google glass meet up. This was an amazing event hosted by the University of Canberra. Participants were treated to an array of knowledgeable international speakers from the Glass Explorer Program. Some of us even got to put on a pair of Google’s smart eye wear and test them for ourselves. I was surprised to learn the stylistics of glass too…. Did you know they come in multiple colours, frames and shades?

A real bonus for me was to listen to young high school students from a Canberra school discuss their views on education, technology and how Glass is changing their world. If you have a moment, you might it useful to visit the #glassmeetups YouTube channel to hear what some of the speakers had to say.
