Including social media in my teaching (7 week program)
At the end of this activity you will be able to:

• Identify common social media platforms and discuss their advantages and disadvantages with others

• Use social media to develop and maintain a positive online presence

• Plan a simple strategy that will enable you to use common social media platforms with learners

• Develop simple guidelines for using social media with learners

Please note: This is a hands on program that will require at least a 30 minute commitment from you daily and participation in a weekly Adobe session to discuss your experiences with others. The platform we will use to disseminate your challenges will be Edmodo –through a daily post you will receive a small challenge that will require you to interact with the Social Media platform chosen for that week’s discussion.
